 I believe the rule you are talking about is this one

 

"#2 - We will look to the head-to-head match history between both players. The player with the most matches won will be the one to advance."

 
Head to Head match history in my understanding would be if some how you were able to get any matches in with the opponent you are playing now before we will use that match history. Correct me if I am wrong on this Wayne.

 So in all likelyness if you cannot connect in playoffs you will have never been able to connect and it will default to seedings.

Now, im not trying to nit-pick, or find fault in the system, but as with our first match, Chess not Checkers, we played them once this season, and lost. We have made about 4 roster changes since then trying to become stable. The bridgemonkey team that you see now, would never have lost to chess not checkers on that first week. I have recorded scrims on xbox live to prove this... i know outside of igames scrims mean nothing, im simply illustrating my point

 
but i understand, given the circumstances, and the total unreliability of xbox live (one of our teammates acct has totally disappeard and microsoft is befuddled, while he sits around and practices none). I appreciate you guys doing what you can with the circumstances, and im sure that im just thinking worse case scenario. I bet 95% of the matches will go off smoothly and without a hitch. Thanks guys

I just wanted to drop a line to you in explaination of CNC's rocky season leading up to the playoffs.  One of their 2 best players usually works monday nights, and the whole team rarely got a chance to play together during the week.  I explained to them that, as long as they made the top eight teams for the tourney, their record didn't much matter besides for seeding, so if a player had to miss a Monday, they should stagger them, so they could at least hold the lead until the playoffs.  They had a sub for one of their players most of the season and almost didn't make the cut (one night they had 2 - you could probably guess which night.)  Anyway, I'm sure that you did beat a portion of the team in scrimmage, but I doubt you "destroyed" the whole team on their game.  I'm sure the matches would be good, as we saw in the very close finals, and I'm sure both teams would looking forward to meeting again in the coming Halo3 Game Night.  We hope to see you there.

preseason went with minimal interruptions from what i saw, sadly the teams we faced were descent, although gamepad's squad or atleast the 1 we played had some good shots/teamwork... hopefully some teams didnt bother with preseason and there will b more competition in the following weeks!

Ya, this is Micro from WOW Effect, I had the same problem as you Jmac, we beat Streamline, but it shows they beat us, so we technically need a win added and a loss taken away, but if once it's updated that it's set in stone I can understand, just wanna back Jmac up on this, so it doesn't happen again in the future.

If anyone else has problems with this, check your bungie.net game history on the account you played on to check, and cross reference that with the sign up page and team names and gamertags. That way you can be for sure. Sorry to hear about that Jmac, hope to see you in the playoffs!
